Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi engari, he toa takitini
Kia ora, ko Kyla taku ingoa. Ngapuhi, Tainui
My Mum opened Nurture by Nature in 2005 so I have been apart of the Nurture whanau since the beginning. I became a full time teacher in 2015 and have worked across all three learning spaces, but predominately you will now find me in the Pohutukawa learning space teaching our 2-3 year olds.
I believe it is my role as a Kaiako to encourage and support the mātauranga that our tamariki bring with them into our learning space. I recognise that each child brings with them their own mana and identity, and that it is our role to create a safe and inspiring space where children can share their knowledge.
Bachelor of Education - Primary, Graduate Diploma ECE

Clare Brandt-I was born in Bradford, England and I have family in Italy on my mothers side. I moved to New Zealand 13 years ago.
I am strong believer of play based learning and working alongside children as equals. I bring my expert skills in working alongside children in play gym style activities which are great for hand eye co-ordination, brain development, motor skills, building confidence and strength.
Sport and Travel have been the biggest parts of my life. My name is Juliana and I am originally from South Africa but have been calling Aotearoa my home since 2017.
I’ve been working in Early Childhood Education since 2018 and my passion lies with our youngest tamaraki, infants and toddlers. “It takes a village to raise a child”. Therefore, whanaungatanga lies at the heart of my own teaching practice. Building strong, secure relationships is essential to a child’s development. I look forward to building relationships with whanau, tamariki and the kaiako in my team. I believe it is important to create an environment where children feel save and loved - to learn and grow as confident unique individuals that believe they are capable of achieving anything.
